Take Away My Blues

Have you felt blue all of a sudden? The everyday blues happens to just about every one once in a while. Most especially a week before my period, I got very emotional and sensitive. Suddenly it hits me, seemingly from no where and I feel a bit down. Sometimes I cried for no reason. Maybe it’s a left over from when I used to feel depressed. Perhaps it’s the weather or the time of year. Maybe I just don’t know why you sometimes get the blues but I just want a way of coming out of it quickly.
I knew these blues is not depression.
I’m not talking about clinical depression where I feel downcast and for weeks on end but just feeling down maybe a bit more than I’d like once in a while. If I feel terrible much of the time then I may be depressed and need to talk to someone who can advise me how to get the best possible help.
With the everyday blues I feel ok most of the time but sometimes I find myself down.
Maybe it’s because I’m tired or don’t always eat right or exercise or maybe it’s because sometimes you can’t see your friends and just beat yourself up for no reason.
Maybe I catch myself just feeling low and having negative thoughts telling myself I’m no good or have failed in some way or that “nothing ever works out or will work out!”
Being more optimistic and up beat.
I don’t want to wear myself down from it which is the ‘down’ feeling of the blues. That’s why I always think positive and have enough exercise. Whenever I feel blue, I always I pray to God and think of my loved ones.
