Wordpress is definitely the hottest open-source blogging software in the planet. WordPress is an excellent choice for anyone looking to host a blog on their own domain. It offers free and versatile blog hosting on its own servers, or you can install its open-source code software on your own server. I adopted Wordpress as my blogging tool of choice for plenty of reasons. It’s simple, user friendly, customizable, and SEO friendly. I’m using it on all my blogs (Tonet’s Daily and Anthonette) Plus, I like the WP Plugins to make your blog interactive, secure, and easy to use. Other features include an API that lets you use third-party software such as Google Docs to post, as well as the ability to blog through a mobile device. I also used Wordpress to make money. I design my own Wordpress Templates and I have dressed TonetsDaily.com many times with different themes depending on both season and mood.

I am excited to join the WordCamp Philippines 2008 in Sept. 6, 2008. Matt Mullenweg, the founder of Wordpress will be there on September 6th (Saturday) for this remarkable event.

Workshy’s Workshy - Unforgettable Hits Collections Album works surprisingly well…Workshy never fails to deliver. The songs are very cozy and delicate, mellow, and smooth.

For those who haven’t heard their music, Workshy is probably best classified as a soul-jazz-pop crossover. Having said that, the magic of this album is that it’s really become difficult to classify. The influences and genres don’t blend together - they just disappear like they’ve never existed, leaving you with the magic. My favorites are upbeat music like Say a Little Prayer, If I ever Lose This Heaven, Love Is The Place To Be, and Light of Day.

It’s Been Awhile…

It’s been awhile I haven’t updated my blog. I have experienced a major disaster during the Typhoon Frank. It was very frightening experience. I was very thankful to God that He had given us second life. I realized that life is very important and how special the people that surrounds me. I was very joyful and thankful to the Angels, Holy Spirit and Saints that helped me. Tatay is with us because the Jeepney lit up during the blackout. It gave us light the whole night. To the angels in earth who helped me, especially to Paul who had walked the flood’s current from Cathedral to Alta Tierra to save us; and to the wonderful and generous people. Thank you very much. May God bless you always!

May Minamahal is my favorite tagalog OPM love song. I also loved the movie May Minamahal starring Aiko Melendez and Aga Muhlach. Only son, Carlitos (Aga Muhlach), suddenly finds himself the man of an all-female household when his father dies of heart attack. He falls in love with an offbeat girl (Aiko Melendez) and is forced to make a choice between following his heart or risk losing the love of the family which has nurtured him all his life.

May Minamahal has a romantic and deep lyrics; and a nice melody. It is indeed a classic filipino love song.

This Philippine released album is truly a world class (A+++). It’s a great tribute to the songs of Burt Bacharach with wide range of different vocal artist.

This CD has nearly all the Bacharach songs I was looking for, enough to make it a great deal for a single CD collection. Some memorable, well sung, and well-written songs.
